And i do agree, everyone has more or less changed.
Be it changes in terms of appearance, status or personality, everyone still made an effort to keep in contact and meet up.

Singapore抯 Isabelle Li maintained a cool and calm approach to win the Cadet Girls?Singles title on Thursday 18th September 2008 at the Taiyuan Junior Open.

Throughout, she remained resolute, no unnecessary displays of emotion, just a totally focused well mannered attitude.

At the final hurdle in the Sports Centre of the Shanxi University, she beat Hong Kong抯 Li Ching Wan in five games to arrest the title.


Isabelle Li won 11-9, 9-11, 11-2, 11-4, 11-5.

Neat and Compact
Fourteen years old, Isabelle Li is a defensive player; she is neat and compact, moves well and is prepared to attack with her forehand when the occasion arises.

The basis is there for a player to develop in the mode of China抯 Fang Ying; a defensive player with a wide range of services and a rocket propelled first forehand attack.

Difficult Semi-Final
In the opening round she overcame Hong Kong抯 Ng La Ke before securing victory in a hard fought penultimate round duel against Korea抯 Youn Ji Young.

揅ertainly, that was the most difficult match in the whole tournament, she抯 a backspin player like me so it was really hard? said Isabelle Li in a very quiet tone of voice, befitting someone who remains calm.

Patience
揚laying defenders you have to be patient, I was patient today and I think my attack was slightly better? continued Isabelle Li. 揑n the final I felt confident, I抎 played Li Chan Wan before and won; that was in July in Singapore at the Asian Junior Championships.?br>
Mentally Strong
Technically Isabelle Li is very correct but it is her mental stability that shines through. 揗y head was clear today? she concluded; certainly that was most apparent.

She has a stoic character, there could be a revolution taking place and Isabelle Li would not be moved.

Li Ching Wan Impressed
En route to the gold medal she impressed, en route to the final the bespectacled Li Ching Wan impressed.

She accounted for China抯 Ma Sifan and Egypt抯 second seed, Nadeen El Dawlatly; a fine effort by the young lady from Hong Kong but against Isabelle Li she met her match.

Gold was in the hands of the young lady who attends the Singapore Sports School and is coached by Cui Wei; the name is Isabelle Li, the 2008 Taiyuan Junior Open Cadet Girls?Singles champion.





Singapore抯 fifteen year old Pang Xue Jie won the Cadet Boys?Singles title at the Taiyuan Junior Open on Thursday 18th September 2008, beating China抯 Liu Chang, Egypt抯 Omar Bedir and Korea抯 Noh Je Min en route to a final encounter with a second Korean, Cho Jae Jun.

In the gold medal match Pang Xue Jie prevailed in five games to collect his third career Cadet Boys?Singles title on the ITTF Junior Circuit. In 2007 he won in Bahrain and Doha.

Pang Xue Jie defeated Cho Jae Jun 18-16, 13-11, 5-11, 13-11, 11-6.


En route Cho Jae Jun had defeated China抯 Tan Siqi, Korea抯 Lee Seung Yeop and China抯 Yang Xin.

Athletic Contest
The match was a contest between two exciting young prospects in the world of table tennis, both left handed, both athletic and both noisy!

They encouraged themselves verbally between every point. Table tennis has been compared on occasion with boxing. It is two people fighting against each other; that was the Cadet Boys?Singles final in the Sports Hall of the Shanxi University of Finance and Economics.

Two young men giving one hundred per cent effort, total commitment; committed to the very end, it was not a heavyweight contest, more lightweight, speed a quick reactions to the fore.

Well Mannered
However, do not be deceived by the analogy to boxing, the two young men are not brawling antagonists.

The victor Pang Xue Jie is one of the most well mannered and respectful young men you could ever wish to meet. He is modest in victory, magnanimous in defeat.

Tough Final
揊or sure the toughest match was the final? said Pang Xue Jie. 揑t抯 the first time I抎 ever played Cho Jae Jun but I抎 seen him play before; I knew how he played.?br>
No doubt he did, he played in a very similar fashion to Pang Xue Jie!

Reasons for Victory
揑 think the main reason I won today was that my service and first attack was good? continued Pang Xue Jie. 揟he biggest problem was returning his services; his services were good, difficult to read.?br>
Pang Xue Jie coped with the situation but the crucial factor in the contest was that he won the close games. 揑 won the first, second and fourth games by only two points? he explained. 揥inning those three games so closely made all the difference.?br>
Group Defeat
Victory for Pang Xue Jie who had not gone through the whole tournament without his problems; in the group stage, one day earlier, he had lost to Lee Seung Yeop of Korea and only progressed to the main draw on games ratio.

He was within a whisker of not even qualifying for the second stage!

A Good Day for Cui Wei
Like Isabelle Li, who some twenty minutes earlier had won the Cadet Girls?Singles crown, Pang Xue Jie attends the Singapore Sports School and is coached by Cui Wei.

It was a good day in Taiyuan for Singapore and both victors, who spoke English fluently, showed themselves to be fine athletes, fine adverts for Singapore, fine adverts for table tennis.

泰国体校比赛就要到了，很多人都是第一次参加，希望你们会享受这次体验，最重要的是比赛取得好的成绩。有些人不知道该带些什么，下面说必须要带的：

1.球拍和海绵（可以准备一支备用的球拍和海绵，球拍必须放在手提行李里随身携带，备用拍可以放托运里）
2.胶水（要用塑料罐装的，不要铁罐的，必须放在托运的行李里）
3.球鞋
4.队服（yonex两件，新发的三件和一套新发的donic夹克必须要带，其它的由各队队长要求，不可少过6件）
5.护照
6.水壶
下面物品可自选携带：
1.毛巾
2.剪刀（必须放在托运行李）

请在出发前确认好所有物品，准时到机场，注意保管好自己的贵重物品，注意安全。

anyway i am the most passive one.
this should be my first time posting. haha.
hmm. mid year just past. WELL DONE TO ALL SEC 4s! for all the hard work. results good or bad doesnt matter. still have time to work on them. (need my help can always look for me XD).

这些天过的太舒服了，没有压力，没有烦恼，唯一想的事情就是下一顿饭吃什么，爽死了。

回家的这几天每天都在学习开车

蛮好玩的，今天下午去参加笔试

90分及格，我考了92分

虽然只是看了一天的书，能考到这种成绩已经很好了，我还蛮有学习的天分的。

今天晚上终于下雪了，而且非常大，虽然比较冷，但我还是非常喜欢。

明天是情人节，这场雪给情人节又增添了几分浪漫。

我一直幻想着在大雪纷飞的夜晚，和心爱的人漫步在雪中，太温暖了，希望以后

会有机会。

今天的雪让我感到了过年的感觉，太美好了。

Currently, all the ssptt players are scattered all over different places.Some are trg in china, some in stta, some in ssp and few outside working to earn money. Hahas. But still i believed we will still be as close as before even if we didnt meet for a LOOONNG NoOOnnG tym coz dere a special bond in us=D
We've graduated from ssp, so its tym for the upper sec[tis yr sec2&3]to pass down the spirit that we ssptt has which is to stay harmony always, and of coz tian tian kaixin!!! Rmb to tell the new batch of students there is one such blog like this for them to blog anything they want kaes..Make this blog stays alive 4eva!!! Good luck to all juniors!! Train hard, study hard and also play hard, yeah..e old saying larhx..

PS: Currently finding people to go countdown on 31st dec,basically the plan is to go countdown, xchange gift,go watch midnite movie den go to someone hse to play till morning!! If anyone interested please msg me=) Thx!! Everyone is welcomed=D

B div is currently on the go now. Hope everyone will give their best and support each other whole-heartedly. Glad to see the strong fighting and team spirit that day. Special mention to the boys team(kok hong, cody,greg and yusiang), they managed to qualify for the second round for team. Girls team are currently doing very well too. And i believe we can end up with a 1-2 finish so jiayou!! The individuals event are coming up soon and it gonna be another mentally draining week for all of us. So continue to jian chi and it'll be over soon!

thats my BIG name! haha whee! i'm used to seeing this blog so dead.. BUT, today i shall be the kindest soul on earth to revive it k. holidays now, but i don't feel like in a hol mood. it's like normal schooldays maybe because we train every single day, is that possible?.. sigh

i shall stop grumbling, competition is near, we must buck up. i know i can't make it, but ppl who can, pls jiayou! esp the young playful juniors. stop playing and train seriously k. i know i've gotta set a good example, but hey! that's a different issue altogether, so yea.

i guess nowadays things had been going real well for us. yup, SEA championships / age group. well done to the 5 of our teammates. although some may not have won anything, but that's a new experience right? there will be many comps and obstacles ahead, so don't take that comp too seriously, prepare for the oncoming comps is more important!

Well said!!! Thats the mentality that we all should have.There are so many things waiting for us to discover or achieve it,thus we dont have much tym to linger onto the past.So, we must learn to let go and move on. Anyway, u gals didnt mention anything about our 2022!!! It was a pity that we lost, but i seriously think that we had gave our best shot that night and was really enjoyable. hahas.. What matters most is the process anyway, so i doubt anyone is upset over it. Most importantly, this comp has brought us even closer than before, don you all agree?!? YeaH!! 2022 will remain foreva in our heart manx..it was a great accomplishment for our academy!! Gambatteh for the upcoming comps!! We may not beat everyone out dere but at least show to others that we, sports sch students are different from others. We not only have the substances, we also have the right attitude that most people are lacking of. All the best peeps!!!

I've never been to this blog for a very long time but decided to do so since I'm free now. Anyway, I agree with Zena and Delfina that many things have happened to the table tennis academy in the past 5 months.
I honestly wish that the juniors will learn to be more mature and let little things that happen to be bygones. There's no use in retaliating because when you do, both parties will get into trouble(and you know what I'm talking about).
JiaKuang: We can all see that you are changing but this is not enough. When you changed, don't pick fights just because you want to. But be at peace with your neighbours. I know this sounds lectury but it is seriously for your own good. Our academy never got into trouble before this and even though our reputation is slightly tarnished, I believe that we can polish it up and let it shien soon. So please put in your best effort yea? Jia you orh!
Junming: I seriously hope you have learnt your lesson from this. Even though the boys like to pick on you over silly things, learn to forgive. But seriously, use your brains abit more?
Why run around stripping for people!? You should have better judgement than that shouldn't you!? Well, it's too late to turn back time but seriously, think twice about the consequences before it's too late. You might have been hurt and embarrassed about the whole video thing but you willingly posed for it. So by complaining about jia kuang, you pull yourself in. So please lear from this.

hello all people from ssp table tennis team '05. Its been a year since the 17 of us stayed together and worked our way to victory. Its a fruitful year for all of us under the guidance of zhanpeng and the three coaches. We must really thank them alot for helping us through all the difficult times and all the competitions. I personally want to thank the 7 juniors for joining sports school and make the training atmosphere better. For the 10 of the first year students, i think you all will agree that we had alot of fun getting to know each other better for the past 2 years. Although we look united, but there is still some ppl who are not really into the team.We all know about it. Let's just face it. We may think that we are united, but the ans to the question is no. Just like what Zena said, we should learn to forgive and forget. I know that it is difficult to do so, but we can all do it. I have confidence in all of us. For the ppl who is "dettached" from the team, pls try to get back into the team. Its like a body cant function well without an organ. PLEASE THINK BOUT IT.

hmmm, another yr gonna end soon and im really glad that our academy is still staying strong, no one has left yet and i hoped no one will leave for the next few years. well, i guess this year everyone have changed, whether in a good or bad way. and the team had bonded quite well throughout the year, except for some we all can tell.but all of us still have to learn to forgive and forget. it's not easy doing it but i hope everyone will put in the effort. we gotta have the need to forgive because if we don't, all we do is hurt ourselves. the hatred will forever be inside us. and i guess no one would wanna feel terrible all the time. live the life you love to lead. always give someone that chance he need to change, every little thing makes a big difference. well i hope everyone will forgive and forget the mistakes all of us had made this year. thanks.

hello people. holidays nearly over yeah? i think we are really too relaxed this week. training was slackish but we all had fun right? isnt this the most important thing -- to have fun? i really had many thoughts and fun in the past week. i realised that there are many things that we as teenagers, should try to understand. like the importance of family, and most importantly, how to overcome setbacks (no matter how great the setback is). i guess im too serious here, SORRY! but i really have to say this to all of you. today i watched tennis masters finals between roddick and ferrer. roddick won 2-1. he turned the match over when he was losing 5-3 in the last game. then he managed to get into the 13th set in the last game. he was losing at first. but at the eand, because he was more determined and his opponent started to panic, he won the game. he was very courageous when he served a 134 mph service while he was losing 7-6. i just wanna say that no matter how tough the situation is, dont give up, perservere to the end. nothing can beat us unless we give up ourselves. i think thats all. bye!
